Mexican Rice


Create your own Mexican dining experience at home with this simple recipe. MAI RASOI Basmati Rice & MAI RASOI Red Rajma is all you need to bring a little Mexican spice into your home.

Ingredients

  1. ½ cup rice (Soaked for 1 hour)
  2. 1 tablespoon oil
  3. 2 teaspoon chopped Garlic
  4. ¼ cup tomato puree
  5. ½ teaspoon red chilli
  6. 1 teaspoon Dania powder
  7. 1 teaspoon Jeera powder
  8. 2 tablepsoonKethcup
  9. ¼ cup corn
  10. ¼ cup red bel peppers (capsicum)
  11. ¼ cup yellow bel peppers (capsicum)
  12. ¼ cup boiled Rajma
  13. 1 cup How water
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Oregano
  16. Chilli Flakes

Method

  1. Add oil in a wok. When it heats add garlic & onion. Saute for just a couple of minutes till the onion starts changing colour & then add all the vegetables.
  2. Cook for 3 – 5 mintues then add the rice with the hot water & let it cook
  3. Garnish with Oregano & chilli flakes
